Presentation: Water Sustainability with Veolia

Carl F. Bender, P.E., of Veolia Water Technologies will make a presentation about the environmental sustainability tools created by Veolia to help make informed decisions on projects and help its customers achieve their sustainability goals. Included are a carbon footprint tool, which is a life cycle assessment of the carbon emissions generated by a project, and the Water Impact Index, which measures the local impact of a project on water resources. Mr. Bender will also discuss Veolia's True Cost of Water, a tool created to better evaluate the cost/benefit of a project than the traditional CAPEX/OPEX approach. The tool ensures that all costs associated with the use of water at a facility are considered as well as the costs associated with resource risk. This will count towards Continuing Education requirements for PE License renewals.
