What it is...

Membership as a Corporate Member in the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) provides a way for you to demonstrate interest in professional engineering. It will allow you to maintain an open line of communication with engineering interests throughout Michigan. Your membership clearly indicates your support of the Professional Engineer and MSPE. It also helps to maintain and expand the high level of MSPE programs and activities, the success of which benefits both organizations and individuals.

Eligibility...


Any organization (public, private or non-profit) employing members of MSPE or engineer's eligibile* for membership in MSPE may be a Corporate Member.

(*a licensed Professional Engineer or engineer-in-training in Michigan or other states where criteria meet licensing requirements in Michigan is considered eligible.)

Benefits...

Tangible membership benefits include: Corporate Member certificate; a subscription to The Michigan Professional Engineer (MPE), the official publication of MSPE; a 1/6 page advertisement in MPE describing company profile; listing in selected issues of MPE; and the right to use "Corporate Member-Michigan Society of Professional Engineers" on your company letterhead.

Such benefits include incentives for a solid team spirit between management and its engineers; a high esprit de corps resulting in a better product or service and a better company; means for MSPE to keep employers posted as to its goals and objectives; encouragement to employed members to continue their technical education and keep their professional attitudes updated; provision for tangible recognition of the mutual responsibility of employer and employees to put forth time, talent and money to improve the professional status of engineers; access to many valuable publications by NSPE and MSPE pertaining to employment relations, public relations, national and state issues, etc. and participation at the Chapter and State levels in MSPE meetings and activities.
