Tour of Holland Energy Park & Dinner

Joint Dinner Meeting with West Michigan and Muskegon Chapters
Join your colleagues from Grand Rapids and Muskegon for one Professional Engineering meeting to tour the new Holland Energy Park power plant facility. Carl Thorwall, PE, Electric Production Engineer, will lead the tour. Please see the last page of this newsletter for presentation details, dinner choices, and directions and a map for parking. We are limited to a total of 50 attendees, so RSVP early!
Join us on a tour and presentation of this state of the art facility. We will be offering two tours. The first tour for the first 15 people will be a tour inside the plant and around the equipment. It will require hard hat, steel toed boots, and ear protection. The rest of the group will have a tour of the education center and can view the equipment from large viewing windows. The schedule is as follows:
5:30 – 6:30 Tours
6:30 – 7:30 Pick up box lunch and settle in for a presentation
Box Lunch from Citi Deli, choice of:
Newark: Turkey, bacon, pepper jack cheese, sundried tomato mayo, honey mustard, spinach, on tomato focaccia
Tulsa: Our Homemade chicken salad with sundried cherries and chopped pecans with lettuce on a wheat wrap
Indianapolis: Ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, honey mustard, red onion, tomato, and lettuce on pretzel bread
Harvest Salad: mixed greens, Swiss cheese, green apple, dried cranberries, and cashews served with poppy seed dressing on the side
$15 per person, $10 for students and retirees (cash or credit at the door)
